Wolves Interest In Arsenal Target Played Down

Arsenal have had a second bid for Dayot Upamecano rejected by RB Leipzig despite upping their offer to £65m, according to reports in the British media.

Following Laurent Koscielny's departure to Ligue 1 side, Bordeaux, Arsenal are in the market for a new centre-back before Thursday's deadline day.

The pair have a pet poodle named Dory and the stunning Italian revealed in December she wants to marry the 25-year-old.

Meanwhile, the English news agency further reports that the Bundesliga giants are thought to be more keen for a permanent deal for Smith-Rowe if Upamecano leaves, but he could rejoin the German club on loan if all else fails.

Bodies believed to be teen murder suspects found near Nelson River, Man.

Arsenal have also brought in midfielder Daniel Ceballos on a season-long loan from Real Madrid and broke the club transfer record when they signed Nicolas Pepe for £72m from Lille.

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Daniele Rugani and are closing-in on a deal that would see the centre-back join from Juventus on an initial two-year loan with an obligation to buy for £36m, according to SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla.

Arsenal are interested in the player, but the Italian has already rejected a two-year loan offer from the Gunners this summer.

He is a hugely talented defender, who simply finds himself shunted down the Juventus pecking order because of the signing of Matthijs de Ligt and experienced heads carrying on deep into their career.
