Another Hot and Humid Day With A Few Isolated Storms

In August though, the outcome of fewer showers and thunderstorms is usually more heat.

High humidity combined with temperatures in the 90s on Monday afternoon will push the heat index to near 100 degrees. While the SPC does have this area in a marginal risk of severe weather, severe weather does seem unlikely given timing.

A strong cold front will be moving through all of MI over the next 24 hours.

Our next front arrives Friday afternoon delivering a few storms.

The cold front will do one thing to all of Michigan- cool us down. Temperatures have been down a few degrees and it's a little more comfortable outside.
