Disney Streaming Bundle to Include Hulu, Disney+ & ESPN for $12.99

Walt Disney on Tuesday said it would offer a $13 (roughly Rs. 922) per-month bundle of its three streaming services starting in November, a move to attract audiences who have embraced digital services such as Netflix.

Among the movies will be eight Star Wars films, 18 Pixar movies, 70 Disney Animation titles, and four Marvel blockbusters.

The Fox acquisition helped beef up Disney's streaming lineup ahead of the Disney+ launch.

Disney also unexpectedly let go Elizabeth Gabler, head of its mid-budget Fox 2000 unit, at the 11th hour.

Thanks to the box office performance of Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, and Toy Story this past fiscal quarter, Disney saw its revenue increase by 33% year-over-year to $20.25 billion.

Disney has finally confirmed how much its upcoming streaming service, Disney+, will cost every month if subscribers get the bundle package.

Disney+ will cost $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year.

"Disney+ will offer more than 600 hours of premium content from National Geographic at launch, along with nearly 300 hours of family entertainment from the Fox Studios library", he said. Analysts expected $1.75 a share on revenue of $21.5 billion. Those movies and others helped Disney set a record for the highest grossing year for a film studio ever, an achievement announced last week, just seven months into the year.
