Ronaldo, Messi Make FIFA ‘The Best Men’s Player Nominees’ List

The duo of Mohamed Salah of Egypt and Sadio Mane of Senegal have been shortlisted by the World Governing body (FIFA) for the 2019 World's best player.

On the back of his £99 million ($121 million/€109 million) move from Real Madrid in July 2018, Ronaldo scored 21 Serie A goals as Juventus claimed an eighth consecutive domestic league title.

Teammate Virgil van Dijk has also been included along with five-time Ballon d'Or victor Lionel Messi ad Cristiano Ronaldo.

Salah and Mane shared the Premier League Golden Boot - with Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - for the league's top scorer with 22 goals each while Messi was the leading scorer in both La Liga (36 goals) and the Champions League (12 goals) last season.

Luka Modric, who won the award a year ago after leading Croatia to the World Cup final, was not on the list.

Fortnite Season 10 Teaser Hints at the Return of the Dusty Depot
As is tradition when it comes to promoting a new season of Fortnite , Epic Games have begun to tease with some cryptic images. However, the visual was accompanied by the words "Look Forward.", as well as the Season 10 start date.

The 32-year-old led Barca to a league title and also won the European golden shoe.

FIFA have announced the official 10-man shortlist for The Best Fifa Men's Player of the Year award, which was selected by a panel of Fifa legends.

The list is completed by France coach Didier Deschamps, Spain's Pep Guardiola of Manchester City, Germany's Jürgen Klopp of Liverpool and The Netherlands' Erik ten Hag of Ajax.

The trophies are due to be presented at the Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan on September 23.

The public can vote for the victor on the Federation Internationale de Football Association website, with the list being whittled down to a final three in September before the overall victor is announced at a glitzy bash in Milan later that month.
