Bale's China move off after Real Madrid board block deal

Out-of-favor Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale is reportedly on the verge of signing a colossal $1.24 million-a-week deal to join Chinese club Jiangsu Suning.

The 77-time capped Welsh global had been told by Real coach Zinedine Zidane he does not form part of his future plans at the Bernabeu.

The Daily Express posted yesterday that Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez had doubts over the deal, following Real's 7-3 thumping to City rivals Atletico Madrid.

Pochettino's comments are likely to ramp up the pressure on chairman Levy, with the transfer window closing a week on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old was expected to play a key part in Zinedine Zidane plans for the upcoming season and now his absence means that out of favour midfielder, James Rodriguez could be handed a lifeline.

Zidane remains keen to have the situation resolved quickly, with a potential move for Manchester United's Paul Pogba possibly dependent on finding a buyer for Bale. The same sources say Perez is now saying that he doesn't have confidence in the Belgian forward and that he was signed because Zidane wanted him.

"There will be no makeshift deals to get him out of the club", said Barnett.

"With a departure seemingly imminent, attentions have turned to where Bale will end up next and the betting suggests the 30-year-old will be playing his football in China next season with a move to the Super League priced at 1/6".

It may have happened four weeks before the start of the season, but Zidane's side have so far lost to Bayern Munich, drawn with Arsenal and now been made to look ridiculous by their neighbors.

Bale scored three goals, plus a penalty in a shoot-out, in four Champions League finals for Real as they won the competition in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The club's hierarchy believes the relationship between head coach Zinedine Zidane and Bale has irretrievably broken down, despite maintaining hope that it could be mended during their recent pre-season tour of the United States.

"Gareth is a Real Madrid player and for now he is staying as a Real Madrid player".

Real midfielders Toni Kroos, 29, and Luka Modric, 33, recevied some criticism for their performances last season.
