Sri Lanka vs India - Highlights & Stats

India's run-machine Rohit Sharma shared the secret of his red-hot form in the ICC World Cup on Saturday, saying he approaches every match as if it was his first.

"He's like a big brother to me so we always talk about the game, about life".

"If not, then I can't, because eventually winning the cup is important, no matter how many runs you score or how many wickets you take".

Mathews led a fightback, though, reaching his ton from 115 deliveries after being dropped on 63 by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and sharing stands of 124 and 74 with Thirimanne and De Silva respectively - Thirimanne hitting his 21st ODI fifty before slicing Kuldeep Yadav to point.

Despite the breach, the spokesperson said the governing body remained confident authorities would enforce no-fly zones around Old Trafford and Edgbaston for next week's semi-finals. "You can not score that many hundreds without a great defence, and Rohit has it", he said.

Sharma, who is renowned for his hunger for big hundreds and is the only batsman to register three double centuries in one-day worldwide cricket, was dismissed by Rajitha but India chased down their 265-run target with 39 balls to spare. The men can learn something from him - just keep batting and batting. His plan is simple, he keeps batting and batting. "That's what I want for the youngsters", he said. "He's an ideal candidate to watch". And then we got a nice push.

Economy adds 224,000 jobs in June rebound
Another ominous sign? The number of Americans working multiple jobs soared by 301,000 in June - from 7.8 million to 8.1 million. The Asian-American unemployment rate dropped to 2.1 percent, its lowest rate since at least 2003 when the current series began.

Australia's loss to South Africa on Saturday means India face New Zealand in the first semi-final in Manchester, while Aaron Finch's side take on hosts England in Birmingham on Thursday. "But unfortunately he couldn't get that wicket".

Rohit looked in sublime touch from the word go after Sri Lanka posted 264/7 in 50 overs, a score which is incidentally Rohit's highest in ODI cricket, which also came against the Lankans.

Complimenting him for having filled in the shoes of the experienced Shikhar Dhawan who was ruled out of the World Cup due to injury, Srikanth said that it was a hard position to replace.

"Fortunately we have a bunch of guys around us who do not discuss these kind of things too much, about personal milestones".

"We are incredibly disappointed this has happened again", the International Cricket Council (ICC) said in a statement.

"From a bowling perspective, it was all about Jasprit Bumrah again".
