"'Teen Mom" Star Amber Portwood Arrested in Indy

According to a new report, the 29-year-old Teen Mom OG cast member, who has struggled with bipolar depression and borderline personality disorder in recent years, was taken into custody on Friday in Indianapolis, Indiana on charges of felony domestic battery.

Amber Portwood was arrested at her home in Indianapolis by officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Arriving officers say the male victim told them his live-in-girlfriend assaulted him while he was holding their 1-year-old child. During a disagreement, things escalated and the reality TV star assaulted him while he was holding their one year old toddler in his arms. Her specific charge, according to IN law, relate to her allegedly touching a family or household member IN a "rude, insolent or angry manner".

As cameras continue to document Amber and Andrew Glennon's love story, viewers are also familiar with the MTV reality star's relationship with her ex. In 2010, she was arrested on domestic violence charges stemming from a fight with Shirley. That arrest came after Amber was shown on Teen Mom slapping and punching Gary Shirley while their daughter Leah was in the room.

This wouldn't be the first time the mother-of-two was put behind bars.
