Vehicle dealership gives away American flags, bibles and shotguns with each purchase

Chatom Ford in Alabama is giving away a free bible, American flag, and 12 gauge shotgun to anyone who purchases a new or preowned auto from now until July 31.

Ward said a few customers have already taken advantage of the deal and that he gets several Facebook inquiries a day.

Chatom Ford launched the campaign God, Guns and Freedom last week, with general sales manager Koby Palmer telling USA Today that it helped them sell 5 vehicles in just 3 days.

In order to receive these add-ons, a customer must be 18 years or older, have a valid ID, can legally purchase a vehicle, and must "pass all checks associated with owning a [firearm] in state of residency". The special ends on July 31.

Mueller to testify publicly before House committees July 17
It will be the first time Mueller has been questioned by Congress over his report into Russian interference in the USA election. Mueller broke a almost two-year silence when he made a brief public statement at the Department of Justice in late May.

The Fourth of July promotion is meant to be patriotic and not political, Palmer said.

Chatom Ford posted a video on Facebook saying each vehicle sold comes with a Bible, 12 gauge shotgun, and an American Flag.

Palmer placed a Bible upon the top of the tailgate of a truck that has an American flag draped across the tailgate. "It's a safe community". If a customer wants the free gun, they can get a certificate to take to get the gun affiliate and get a background check. Palmer said the dealership has partnerships with firearm affiliates in both MS and Alabama, so the new auto owner would get a certificate to take to get the gun affiliate, who performs the background check.

"Let's say someone wants a smaller gun, then they can get a 20-gauge if they want", Palmer added.
