How to download public beta versions of iOS 13 and iPadOS

The new operating system comes with a bunch of exciting features and improvements including, finally, a dark mode on iOS, improved apps, and a lot more.

Step #2 Open Appl's public beta page on the device on which you're about to install the iOS 13 beta. Open Settings, tap the profile and follow the onscreen instructions to allow installation. Either way, if you have been waiting to try out the new betas, it's time.

If you're willing to take the risk, the advice is to make a backup first. iTunes will do that for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.

As we can see from the video there are no major speed improvements in the first public beta of iOS 13, this is hardly a surpise as the software is basically the same as the developer beta 2 we saw previously. Indeed, the expectation is that each public beta release still has the potential for problems.

For macOS Catalina, in the interim, it's for the most part about the applications. The iPhone will discover the iOS 13 public preview and will download it. Because this is a public beta, Apple is likely to change and fix many features before iOS 13's final release.

Tap on "Profile Downloaded" and then hit the install button.

India gear up for Russell-less Windies test
India posted 268 on the back of half-centuries from Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni and then the in-form India bowlers took over. Cottrell has been in great form with the ball, he picked four wickets against New Zealand and two catches.

Once you've installed the new iOS 13 beta, expect to receive new updates and tweaks every couple of weeks until the software officially launches this September. Apple recommends taking a backup before installing the new OSes, and only installing it on non-production devices.

The iOS 13 Public beta download is now available for various newer iPhones. Once you've done that, head to Settings in your iPhone, install the profile, and your iPhone will restart.

Some experienced developers have been warning about the testing nature of iOS 13 and iPadOS.

Chief of these is a long-awaited dark mode that introduces a gorgeous new aesthetic by, as the name suggests, exhibiting black tones across the iPhone user interface. Registration is free. Once you're given access, you'll be able to download all the public betas of iOS 13.

Once the device has done rebooting, the iPhone should start downloading iOS 13 automatically.

While Apple could also simply choose to ignore very minor version numbers in the future, the potential for unforeseen consequences means that its unlikely to take that approach.
