Trump appoints Stephanie Grisham new White House press secretary

President Donald Trump has named Stephanie Grisham as his new press secretary, replacing Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who will step down from the role on June 28. Grisham will also accompany Trump on a trip to Japan and South Korea on Wednesday.

The first lady tweeted Tuesday that she "can think of no better person to serve the Administration our country".

In March 2017, Grisham moved to the East Wing, serving as Mrs. Trump's deputy chief of staff, communications director and spokeswoman - which saw her regularly, publicly push back against what she perceived as unfair coverage. She will continue to serve the first lady in her new capacity.

Trump told reporters that Melania "loves her" and "thinks she has been incredible". In 2016, she worked as a staffer for Trump's presidential campaign and, four years before that, she worked on Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.

As Trump mulled who he'd like to replace Sanders anonymous rumors of sex, laziness and criminal behavior have spread around White House, according to the Washington Examiner.

Grisham has sharply defended Melania Trump, sometimes making news in the process.

The phone is expected to have a 48 MP primary sensor on the back side and on the front side, it will come with a 32 MP snapper. That large design also enabled a 5,500mAh battery, with Xiaomi touting 71 percent capacity after an hour of fast charging.

Sanders would not comment on what plans Grisham may or may not have for press briefings.

"Grisham is pure Trump", the source said.

"By the way, a woman who has been so good, so talented, so wonderful and we're sort of going to be losing, I have a feeling she's going to be running for a certain gubernatorial position", Trump told an enthusiastic crowd before inviting Sanders to join him on stage.

In another instance, she issued an unusually tough statement about the departure of a deputy national security adviser from the White House.

Sanders praised the pick of her successor. "A lot of the folks in the media like her very much", he said.

Sarah Sanders announced she would leave the White House earlier in June. Grisham was the spokeswoman for Arizona attorney general Tom Horne, for the Arizona House of Representatives Republican caucus, and Arizona House speaker David Gowan. Grisham has also helmed PR on the seemingly opposing views of the first lady to those of the President and navigated Melania Trump's silence in the face of headlines about Trump's alleged infidelities, which he denies. "& life has never been the same", Grisham tweeted at the time.
