The View Buries Mayor Pete's Handling of Town Hall Protests

Local political expert Jack Colwell was live in studio on Monday morning to weigh in on Mayor Pete Buttigieg's political future following a town hall he hosted on Sunday. O'Neill called for an ambulance after the shooting, but it didn't arrive quickly, so police say another officer suggested O'Neill drive Logan to the hospital to get him treatment more quickly, given his injuries.

"There needs to be more meaningful conversations with a more diverse group because what you see tonight is that African Americans are not monolithic", Williams-Preston said.

Buttigieg kept his emotions in check, something that has become a trademark of the candidate on the campaign trail but did let out a mix of frustration at being interrupted and visible sadness at the fact that these issues plague the city he has led for eight years.

"I acknowledge that we haven't done enough", he said. I don't know if it is strategic or not, but it is my city and I have a relationship with everybody in this city. And when somebody loses their life because of a civilian or because of an officer and it is happening all over the country, but it is happening here.

Reports indicate that inns that are far from other inns give more energy than those closely huddled together. However, for whatever reason, it's available to download, for free, a day early on Android and iOS devices.

Buttigieg held the town hall at Washington High School in South Bend alongside Police Chief Scott Ruszkowski. "Then I feel like it is my job to face it".

Others in the audience heckled Buttigieg for campaigning days after the shooting. Patton has also thrown his support behind Buttigieg in the presidential race. O'Neill was white and Logan was black, which only adds to the tensions over this incident in South Bend and the national debate about policing in minority communities. Mayor Buttigieg acknowledged that efforts to diversify and increase accountability in the South Bend police force had failed, and it was less diverse than when he came into office eight years ago.

Sgt. Ryan O'Neill had been responding to a call about a suspicious person going through vehicles when he spotted Logan leaning inside a auto, St. Joseph County Prosecutor Ken Cotter said. "The investigators said O'Neill's body camera wasn't automatically activated because he was driving slowly without emergency lights while looking through an apartment building parking lot". Upon his arrival, Buttigieg faced heavy backlash from residents regarding neighborhood safety and alleged police brutality.
