Damian Lillard has separated ribs in Warriors-Blazers twist

Damian Lillard has separated ribs in Warriors-Blazers twist

He played just 18 minutes and contributed two points, five rebounds and two assists.

With this second come-from-behind win after Thursday's, the Dubs are now in position, up 3-0 in the series, to wrap up the set and head to their fifth consecutive NBA Finals. It was Green and Curry who recruited Kevin Durant to the Warriors together in July 2016, with Green initiating the recruiting and Curry closing the deal.

Portland led by 13 points at half-time, but were overwhelmed in the second half. And given that seven technical fouls in a single postseason result in a game suspension, the Warriors could ill afford Green to maintain his pace.

"We didn't want to risk anything and put him back in the game", Golden State coach Steve Kerr said. "He was like a wrecking ball out there, destroying everything in his path". Damian Lillard added 19 points, but Portland was hurt at the line, making just 20 of 33 attempts.

"I don't think it's something that's affecting my game", Lillard insisted to reporters Sunday.

Norwich have been heavily linked with Barbet in recent months, as the club now prepare for the Premier League next season. Jonathan Kodjia, meanwhile, will presumably be working on his dab in preparation for the final on May 27 at Wembley.

The Trail Blazers held double-digit half-time leads in each of the past two games. Meyers Leonard was a bright spot in Game 3, earning a surprise start and scoring 16 points, a playoff career-high. All in all, the Warriors ended the third on a 23-6 run, over the final 7:50 of the quarter, taking an 82-79 lead into the fourth.

Golden State out-scored Portland 29-13 in the quarter to lead by three heading into the final frame and pushed the lead to 11 with 4:51 remaining.

It's tough to watch after seeing Lillard's electric performances against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs. But, the Warriors rallied and came away with wins in both of those matchups to take a 3-0 advantage. He also averaged 1.3 assists in 24.4 minutes per game during the regular season as a member of the Blazers, and he's now projected for 23.5 minutes in our NBA Models.

Game 4 of the series tips off on Monday night from Portland at 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
