Google releases 53 gender fluid emojis, coming first to Pixel phones

The newest version of the Android operating system is being rolled out today, with 21 devices from three brands in the beta release. Android P stood for Pie, Android O for Oreo, Android N for Nougat, etc.

Onlookers have noted that the options for words beginning with Q are very slim (quince has been suggested) and some suspect Google might drop the convention as a result.

The emojis are coming to the Google Pixel this week and will eventually expand to all devices running Android Q. The company will also accept phones from Huawei, Samsung, Motorla, and LG as well as older models of Pixels.

Love 'em or hate 'em, emoji have become a key part of the way that many of us communicate, and that makes representation vitally important to the way they're designed.

It has introduced a control feature that lets users choose a time limit to save location history, web and app activity data for either 3 months or 18 months.
