Baby Sussex, whose name is still yet to be revealed, was born at 5.26am local time (2.26pm AEST) on Monday, weighing in at seven pounds, three ounces (3.26kg). The royal is now on an engagement with her husband, Prince Charles, in Germany, and she had the sweetest reaction to seeing her step-grandson for the first time. "I have the best two guys in the world, so I'm really happy".

Archie became seventh in the line of succession to the throne but there will be no Prince or HRH title preceding his name and instead he will simply be Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Prince Harry's real name is Henry and, according to reports, Princess Diana and Prince Charles knew they were going to call him Harry all along. He added that "parenting is wonderful". "Parenting is fantastic. It's only been what, two-and-a-half days, three days, but we're just so thrilled to have our little bundle of joy".

"To my astonishment, he said, 'I'm called Archie'".
