Sony will host another State of Play livestream on Thursday, May 9.

In an entry on the PlayStation Blog, Sony announced that the second State of Play episode will be broadcast on Thursday, May 9 at 3:00 p.m.

George Clooney will not be royal baby's godfather
It's only been two and a half days, three days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy". Following the brief photocall, the tot was brought to meet his great-grandparents, the Queen and Prince Philip.

The MediEvil remake is being developed by PlayStation Worldwide Studios, who hope to share an extended look at the game, as well as the first look at a new title. The posting also tells us "Don't expect any updates relating to our next-generation plans this time".

Earlier this year, Sony made the excellent decision to become more transparent with the gaming community by unveiling their State of Play series. In addition, we will get to see a brand-new title and "more". The first stream wasn't mind blowing but I imagine some of the truly exciting announcements will be happening over the next few months.

Viewers can tune in on PlayStation's YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch channels next Friday to watch.
