Forecast: Warm days ahead, then spring showers for Easter in Colorado

As of now, the weather service is expecting rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches across a wide area of New Jersey and perhaps as much as 2 to 3 inches in parts of eastern Pennsylvania.

There's a big holiday weekend ahead, with Passover and Easter being celebrated by many.

In fact, it appears that the island of Ireland will be warmer than that of top Summer holiday destinations such as Barcelona, Lanzarote, Ibiza and Athens. Then into next week, the most likely picture is that we will cool down and become less settled from the northwest, but don't bet against the fine weather sticking around a while longer.

Look for wet weather along the east coast this weekend. The temperature averages 14 degrees on a "normal" April 21.

Temperatures will take a slight dip on Easter Sunday.

Well, it's already starting to show its hand today with highs making it up into the high teens and maybe even low-twenties here and there.

And when will the warm weather end?

Temperatures will dip to 16 degrees on Saturday before rising again to 18 on Sunday. This system will mean that a southerly flow of moist air will ensue and keep clouds and the chance for showers Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Steve Willington continued: "It now looks like more changeable and cooler weather will arrive from the northwest from Easter Sunday, however there remains the chance that southeastern parts of the country could remain warm and settled into Easter Monday".
