Borderlands 3 gets its first trailer at PAX East

2K Games and Gearbox have officially announced Borderlands 3.

Interestingly, characters from Tales of the Borderlands and Borderlands the Pre-Sequel will appear in the game.

Added Firepower: A new set of six named, custom-skinned Legendary weapons make the base game's arsenal even deeper.

The crafty beggars even hid a SHIFT code in the trailer, which unlocks Salvador's Community Day skin in 2012's Borderlands 2. The remaster will bring the game to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with support for Ultra High Definition graphics and HDR. The game will be available to purchase starting April 3; check out the trailer above to get a look at the new graphics. The distinctive art style remains, and there's still the emphasis on the wild, insane world to explore. However, the company also gave some love to its past Borderlands games as well, confirming a remastered version of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, as well as a big update coming to Borderlands: The Handsome Collection.

Samsung Galaxy A70 official with triple cameras and Infinity U display
It runs on Samsung's One UI based on Android 9.0 and would be available in four colours - Black, Blue, Coral, White. And then, services like Samsung Pay, Knox security and Samsung Pass are also a part of the skin.

No release date has been given for Borderlands 3. As someone who prefers to play games solo, I'm hoping that the single-player campaign remains the heart of Borderlands.

To wit: the trailer features barely anything in the way of a story, aside from the brief hint that there are "baddies".

Borderlands 3 was strongly hinted at by yesterday's Mask of Mayhem teaser trailer-with loads of secrets buried in the imagery for fans to uncover-and today we'll find out more about what Gearbox has been working on.
