This Syracuse Orange starting guard is suspended ‘indefinitely.’ Watch your bracket

Syracuse point guard Frank Howard will not play in the NCAA tournament for an indefinite period of time due to "a violation of athletic department policy", the school announced on Wednesday. Syracuse is 7-2 in its last nine NCAA Tournament games - and 12-4 in its last four NCAA Tournament appearances.

When meeting with reporters in Salt Lake Wednesday shortly after the statement went out, Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim said Howard would not play Thursday. The senior guard poured in 28 points in the team's ACC tournament game against the Duke Blue Devils.

The Baylor Bears have left Waco for Salt Lake City, Utah where they'll open the NCAA Tournament Thursday night against Syracuse.

Mobile Home Internet Pilot Opens
The pilot, which is for existing customers, will reach areas where T-Mobile expects to offer connection speeds of around 50 Mbps. The router will be upgraded to provide customers 5G services when they will be available in their region, at no additional costs.

Without Howard, the Orange could continue to use Buddy Boeheim in the starting lineup. "I'm going to continue to stay ready and, once my name is called, just play to the best of my abilities".

Howard was caught on camera seemingly trying to trip up Williamson, who was playing in his first game since returning from a Grade 1 right knee sprain. "I mean, it's a tough situation to be in, we as a team, and I know we're going to pick up the slack and we're going to be ready to play". This game will likely be a battle of zone defenses, as both Baylor and Syracuse use the 2-3 zone throughout the season.
