Westbrook Threatens Fan & His Wife After "Disrespectful" Comment

Westbrook Threatens Fan & His Wife After

Russell Westbrook got into a nasty spat with a Utah Jazz fan during Monday's matchup in Salt Lake City.

"He was smiling at one point", said Keisel, saying he told Westbrook to just sit down and ice his knees because he's going to need it.

As Deadspin reports, Westbrook has since issued a statement about the incident, saying Keisel told him to "Get on your knees like you used to", a comment he said he interpreted as "racial". The All-Star responded with the fire as expected. "It turned to, I mean, the guy is f-king everything". As a result, the Thunder point guard yelled, "I swear to God. I'll (expletive) you up". But there's a fine line when you go to the disrespectful side on, 'Am I cheering my team on? Nah, f*ck that! Nah, f*ck that! Everything I love, I promise you. [On] everything I love - everything I love.

"To me that's just completely disrespectful. I think it's racial".

"If I had it to do over again, I would say the exact same thing. I expect anybody else to do the same". Never been in any domestic violence before. "There could have been some words that Russ could have said a little bit differently, but at the end of the day, he was in the right and that guy was in the wrong". "That's kind of how that started". "But when you threaten a woman that's 5 feet tall and 110 pounds, you're a big man".

At the center of the incident was Jazz fan Shane Keisel. Never have before, but once he said the comment, his wife repeated the same thing to me as well.

The Jazz, in a statement, said they had investigated the incident through video review and eyewitness accounts and made a decision to ban "the fan who engaged in the inappropriate interaction".

The couple later joined up with the rest of the royal family for a Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey. The source says that her schedule is "going to start to quiet down" as she prepares to welcome their baby.

"Multiple warning cards were issued by arena security".

The ban is for all arena events, and "is based on excessive and derogatory verbal abuse directed at a player during the game that violated the NBA Code of Conduct", the team said in a press release.

"Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy and play the game in a safe, positive and inclusive environment", said Steve Starks, president of the Utah Jazz.

Famously volatile National Basketball Association superstar Russell Westbrook went on a profanity-filled tirade during a Monday night National Basketball Association game, threatening an avowed MAGA and Donald Trump supporter who has a history of posting racist Tweets.

Hopefully, this will put an end to inappropriate interactions between fans and players. "It's truly disrespectful to the game, man".

During a playoff series in 2016, Utah Jazz "fans apparently shouted racist comments at African-American players on the [Golden State] Warriors", according to Bleacher Report.
