Keith Flint Dead: The Prodigy Star's Death 'Not Suspicious', Inquest Hears

Coroner's officer Lynsey Chaffe said Keith Flint's provisional medical cause of death is hanging when she appeared at a two-minute hearing in Chelmsford easier today.

The lead singer of the United Kingdom band, Keith Flint, was found dead in his Essex house on 4 March, with bandmates revealing that he had taken his own life.

Toxicology reports are being awaited and the Coroner's officer adjourned the inquest until 23rd July for a full hearing. Band mate Liam Howlett said on Instagram at the time that Flint had committed suicide.

The eye liner-rocking badboy vocalist rose to fame in the 1990s when the band released several dark, dance-electronic hits including the tune "Breathe".

Numerous band's followers have since commented on the post, with one fan writing, "So sad about this and so sorry for dear Keith bless him". According to the Telegraph, an Essex Police spokesman said, "We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday".

May suffers fresh setback in Brexit deal negotiations
MPs rejected the prime minister's deal by 230 votes in January - the largest defeat for a sitting government in history. They want Mrs May to change this aspect of the deal.

"Following the tragic death of Keith Flint all forthcoming Prodigy shows will be cancelled with immediate effect".

He was described in a statement by Howlett and fellow bandmate Maxim as "a true pioneer, innovator and legend".

"RIP KEITH FLINT. I remember when Firestarter came out".

They wrote "The news is true, I can't believe I'm saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend, I'm shell shocked, f***in' angry, confused and heart broken".

The group released an album, No Tourists, in November and was set to embark on a USA tour in May.
