Nintendo to 'revive' a 'very officially cancelled' game

Alex Seedhouse reports, "I have confidence in my sources to report that it is my understanding that Scalebound has been resurrected as a project to be released as a Nintendo Switch exclusive".

The initial rumour came from Game Informer's Senior Editor, Imran Khan, who told Kinda Funny Games that Nintendo is reviving a "game that's thought to be dead". While no official date has been revealed yet, they did say that new commercial showed the handheld hybrid console showing the text "Final Fantasy VII coming soon!".

Fans craving an exciting game with massive dragons at its lead were severely disappointed in early 2017 when Scalebound was officially canceled.

Kamala Harris gives awkward response when asked about Jussie Smollett claims
Nancy Pelosi went back into her social-media timeline and took down a statement that originally was sympathetic to Smollett. Author Roxane Gay tweeted Saturday that she doesn't know what to say, but that the situation is a "mess" and a "travesty".

Khan also mentioned that Kingdom Hearts III won't be coming to the Switch. Scalebound was in development for about four years before Microsoft cancelled it, and it remains to be seen if Nintendo wants the game overhauled before the inaugural Switch release. "Last I heard, there was a talk between Nintendo and Square Enix about what they could do with Kingdom Hearts III", he said.

I was told Scalebound would still come out (just not as an Xbox exclusive) by someone I consider fairly credible all the way back in JUNE a year ago, but didn't believe them.

Well according to a report from NintendoInsider it might be making a comeback however as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Go ahead and speculate in the comments section below the article.
