Lee Radziwill, Jackie Kennedy Onassis' younger sister, dies at 85

A cause of death has not been released.

Like her older sister, Radziwill attended the exclusive Miss Porter's boarding school and later went to Sarah Lawrence College.

Born Caroline Lee Bouvier, Radziwill was the younger sister of the late former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and sister-in-law of late President John F. Kennedy. Radziwill had three professions-as an actress, an interior designer, and finally a brand ambassador and PR exec for Giorgio Armani-and it was the third that clicked for her, partly because she looked great in his clothes. She had to travel a lot, and liked to have me with her as we were very close.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Radziwiłł.

Radziwill nonetheless frequently discussed her time in and around the Kennedy White House, telling the New York Times she could not "deny those few years were glamorous".

Radziwill was said to be close to her sister Jacqueline, who died in 1994, although there were also U.S. media reports of sibling rivalry.

She married three times, with the first being to publishing executive Michael Temple Canfield, back in April 1953.

Radziwill was also known for her high-profile marriages - including to her second husband, Prince Stanislaw Albrecht Radziwill of Poland.

She married Prince Radziwill, a descendant of Polish royalty who became an English subject, in 1959.

While married to Canfeld, she had an affair with Stas Radziwell and they later married, bestowing on her the title of "princess", WWD said.
