The Knicks Are Already Promoting Kevin Durant to Season Ticket Holders

While the New York Knicks sport the worst record in the National Basketball Association at 10-45, there is some hope on the horizon with rumors swirling that Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant might sign with the team in the offseason.

The Warriors star was shown guarding Knicks rookie forward Mitchell Robinson in the ad - which encouraged fans to renew their ticket packages in the subscriber portal of the team's website.

Hard to imagine that this particular photo choice was an unintentional oversight.

The photo was included in a renewal drive for season-ticket holders.

On Tuesday, Brown basically ended his career in the Steel City, and he bid farewell to the organization on Twitter . Fitting Brown under the salary cap, if he were to stay on his current deal, would be possible for the Eagles.

Kevin Durant dribbles against the Knicks' Damyean Dotson in an October game. "To be clear, it was one of several rotating photos on the website", according to the statement. He signed a two year, $61.5 million deal with the Warriors last season that comes with a player option, which many expect he will opt-out of and become a free agent again this summer.

"I come here every day and [you reporters] ask me about free agency, ask my teammates, my coaches and you rile up the fans about it. Let us play basketball". The team has dropped 16 straight games and now has the worst record in the NBA, which they'll put on the line on Monday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers (7 p.m. ET - Watch on FuboTV with NBA League Pass add-on), meaning that they do have a legitimate chance at landing Zion Williamson - a potential game-breaker - in the draft.

Don't read anything into the use of the photo, however, the team urged in a statement released Sunday night.
