In fact, it's not hard to argue that they won this trade, thanks to the savvy of Jerry West and the rest of LA's front office.

The Philadelphia 76ers want to make a run in the Eastern Conference playoffs this season.

Boasting a core that already includes Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Jimmy Butler, the Sixers were able to strike a six-player deal with the Los Angeles Clippers that will bring rising star Tobias Harris to Philly.

The Sixers paid a steep future price to the Clippers, including rookie guard Landry Shamet, Philadelphia's own 2020 protected first-round pick and an unprotected 2021 first-round pick via the Miami Heat, league sources told ESPN.

The big return for the Clippers comes with those picks.

Having spent much of past two years playing on the wing, he is now thriving in a more central position. Rashford raced on to Paul Pogba 's pass to drill the ball beyond Kasper Schmeichel from close range.

Harris is enjoying a career-best 20.7 points per game in 54 starts so far this season and is shooting career-best figures of 49.3 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from three-point range.

ESPN's Ramona Shelbourne clarified some of the protections on the Draft picks, notably that the Sixers' 2020 first-round pick is lottery protected through 2022 before converting into a pair of second-round picks.

Moments after the trade went through, Harris took to Twitter and posted a gif of Will Smith on a basketball court from the opening credits of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air".

LA, who in its last outing earned a road win over Charlotte thanks to 34 points and a game victor from Harris, returns to action when it takes on Indiana Thursday.

Marjanovic, a fan favorite in Los Angeles, averages 6.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
