Around the same time that Apple announced that it's lowering prices for iPhones outside the United States on the heels of the first-ever holiday season losses, a budget Android Go phone is also making its debut.

The Pro variant will likely continue with the 4000 mAh battery, 13 MP front camera for selfies, and the same 6.3-inch full HD+ display.The phone will continue with the glass chassis design as well. The Snapdragon 660 chipset will be present under the hood of the device.

The new budget phone is packing a 6in 720p display, powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 quad-core CPU. Other specs include 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded through the microSD slot. Do let us know via the comments section.

While Xiaomi hasn't officially confirmed the price of the smartphone, Redmi Go is expected to launch at Rs. 6500 minimum. However, the company has not yet announced whether or not it will be sold in the United States. The 4GB RAM and the 6GB RAM versions of the smartphone are available at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively. The device will be available there for 80 euros, which is about $92. Now the company has also teased the global launch of the Redmi Note 7.
