Samsung’s foldable phone will unfold with a surprise

However, the source cited by CNET did not reveal the name of the rumored double-screened smartphone that LG will reportedly roll out at MWC 2019. However, it appears that it will be doing this cautiously by adding a second screen via an attachable second screen option - using a flip style case with the second display integrated within. So for now, the LG G8 seems to one big ball of mystery. That said, what do we expect to see by LG this year around?

It's unclear whether the smartphone in question is going to be the LG G8 or not.

Regardless of name or style, the innovative device seeks to lift LG's struggling smartphone division, which has continued to lag behind industry rivals.

Federer digs deep to overcome Evans in Australia
Boulter started celebrating and went to the net when she reached 7-4 in the tiebreaker, forgetting it wasn't a conventional count. Roger Federer maintained his ideal record in Australian Open second-round matches, beating Dan Evans in Melbourne on Wednesday.

LG has dabbled with modular smartphones before. With the V40, LG introduced a camera not with three or four lenses, but with five. Also, the report suggests that LG might not ship its upcoming device with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and that we might get to see the phone running on Snapdragon 845 at the end.

According to a report from CNET, LG will launch a smartphone that will allow users to attach a second screen, potentially doubling the total screen size. Apple, Huawei and Samsung dominate the premium segment, while budget-conscious consumers are more attracted to devices from OnePlus and other Chinese handset makers.

Anyway, LG should unveil the G8 and other devices (and accessories, unfortunately) in just about a month so stay tuned. However, it is believed that the company has a foldable device in the pipeline, which may also come with a 5G-support. Hopefully, the new dual screen smartphone from LG could make a good comeback for the company. The TV will hit store shelves some time in ot around March.
