Samsung Galaxy M coming to India on January 28 as Amazon exclusive

Samsung Galaxy M-Series smartphones have now been confirmed to launch in India on January 28.

The three new M-series phones, which Samsung plans to sell only through its website and's Indian operation, will help the company to double online sales, the head of Samsung's Indian mobile business told Reuters. The company also stated that all the Galaxy M series smartphones will also be available on their own online store, for consumers to purchase.

Samsung has been hinting at the Galaxy M for quite some time and its features were tipped in leaks earlier this month.

The M-phones will have a display with a teardrop notch or as Samsung calls it, Infinity V. Theyll sport an ultra-wide angle camera, a large battery and fast charging.

Pacquiao Hopes Broner Clears Up Personal Issues
Broner also made it clear that a victory over Pacquiao would compensate for the times he's come up short in the ring. After throwing one near Mayweather's section, he shook his old rival's hand. "But I'm not thinking about that now".

While there used to be a very clear divide between mid-range smartphones and high-end flagships, the lines have increasingly blurred over the past few years. As per reports, Samsung will first be launching the Galaxy M10 and M20 phones first and Galaxy M30 will be announced later.

The Galaxy M10 price in India is rumoured to start under Rs 10,000, while the M20 should be priced under Rs 15,000. The series will be targetted towards the country's millennials, hence the nomenclature, "M".

Citing GfK data, Warsi said the company exited the December 2018 quarter with a 40 per cent value share of the market.

Xiaomi has managed to maintain a steady lead over Samsung for over a year now, with a 27.3% market share compared to its rival's 22.6% in the July-September 2018 period, buoyed by a almost 50% share in the online segment and rapid expansion in its bricks-andmortar channel as well, according to IDC. The Galaxy M30 is the top dog with a 6.3” screen and huge 5,000mAh battery.
