Redmi Note 7 Smartphone Offers 48 Megapixel Camera for $150

A few days back, Xiaomi spun-off its Redmi series of smartphones into an individual brand. What's great about Xiaomi is not just the fact that its smartphones are affordable, but also that they feature impressive performances and the ideal example of this is the latest Redmi Note 7 which features a 48-megapixel camera.

On the camera side, the phone sports a dual rear 48MP+5MP camera at the back. In advance, there is a 13-megapixel selfie sensor too with highlights like AI confront open, AI shrewd excellence, AI single shot haze, front HDR, foundation obscure, and that's just the beginning. The front is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

In terms of the other specs, the Redmi Note 7 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support, and more.

It is powered by the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. Ahead of the unveiling, the alleged Redmi Note 7 was recently spotted on the Chinese certification agency TENAA's website. Whenever global versions of the Redmi Note 7 reach retailers in the States, we can expect the prices to be a bit higher, but still plenty cheap for what you get. The other big difference (besides the name) is in the possibility that the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro might use a Sony 48MP sensor, while the Redmi Note 7 uses a Samsung 48MP sensor. The Redmi Note 7 has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
