‘Criminal Minds’ to end with Season 15

Cape Town - Long-running crime show Criminal Minds has announced that it's upcoming fifteenth season will be it's last.

The post told fans to "get ready for a momentous ride".

That being said, there is no doubt that the viewers are looking forward to some iconic moments in the season 14 finale, including David Rossi's wedding with Krystal - his third ex wife with whom he reunited last season.

CBS has renewed the crime drama for its 15th and final season, ET can confirm.

"Criminal Minds" will come to an end after Season 15.

The town's mayor Ron Fladten said the news was a "great result" and that he had been "praying daily" for the safe return of Jayme. According to authorities, Jayme was cleared medically Friday morning, and will be reunited with her relatives later today.

The final season will feature 10 episodes that will air in 2019 and 2020, according to Deadline. ABC Studios produces in association with CBS Television Studios.

It's official: Criminal Minds is coming to an end. The final season will air at a yet to be determined time next TV season.

Created and produced by Jeff Davis, Criminal Minds centers on a group of highly skilled Federal Bureau of Investigation profilers who work at the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), using their knowledge of criminal profiling and victimology to anticipate what each "unsub" (or "unknown subject") will do next.

Throughout the years, the show has starred Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, Mandy Patinkin, Shemar Moore, Paget Brewster and Amber Heard. "As long as we have heroes who want to keep chasing the bad guys I feel like we could keep going, and going, and going". I also don't know if I would've anticipated that we'd have 325 episodes by the time it's all said and done.

Rumors that Criminal Minds would be canceled have been swirling since a year ago. I know a lot of shows, when they find out it's going to be over, then characters are killed off or something like that.
