Manchester United cruise into FA Cup fourth round with win over Reading

Romelu Lukaku has revealed just how caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is already helping to improve Manchester United's strikers.

Striker Romelu Lukaku was among the travelling party however, and has this week commended the way Solskjaer has revived United since his introduction.

Manchester United continued their good form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with their fourth win in a row but it's not just the points that are making the difference, it's the goals- as one comparison with Jose Mourinho proves.

Solskjaer, however, is hopeful that the Chilean will be available for selection in Sunday's clash against Spurs.

"You can't ask for more than going through but the way we played wasn't the best", Solskjaer told the BBC.

"It has to start with the way we play because results you can not control", he said. "It's a good win when you come to a place like this".

"I'm happy with squad I've got", the 45-year-old said.

Kawhi Leonard wishes for different end to Spurs tenure
Kawhi Leonard returned to San Antonio on Thursday, Jan. 3 as a member of the Toronto Raptors to a crowd full of booing fans. Prior to halftime, DeRozan did a ton of damage, scoring 19 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out five assists.

'We're there to stick together, work hard on the physical part of it and, of course, think a little bit ahead to the Tottenham game'.

But the fans might not be able to see the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in action since the manager will surely have plans to rotate his squad and give some game time to all the fringe players.

At Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon it was Tahith Chong's chance to finally pull on the red of United's first team in a competitive match, a young winger who has shown so much promising at youth level.

Not only did the third round of the FA Cup bring the arrival of Premier League and Championship sides, but it also saw a return of VAR to the competition.

"I thought the Newcastle game was a great example of us not just getting the first goal and sitting back to counter".

From Sanchez's through-ball, the onrushing Lukaku rounded Jaakkola to score from a tight angle.

"He's been out a month now, he's had 20 minutes against Newcastle, half an hour maybe". He had been fouled just before Fred, who was offside, out the ball in the net, and the correct decision was eventually made.

United are due to fly to Dubai after the game for a warm weather training camp, ahead of the trip to Tottenham on January 13, and Solskjaer was warned his squad to expect four days of hard work.
