Steelers Mike Tomlin Says Antonio Brown Has Not Requested a Trade

"That's the kind of baffling thing to me".

"People are making a big deal about a walk-through", Roethlisberger said. "I don't know anything about that". He's scheduled to make $22.2 million next season, but the Packers could easily restructure the deal in such a way that plays to their advantage.

The Steelers quarterback continued to play down talks of the fight and revealed that he had spoken to the wide receiver on Thursday and that everything was okay between them. Then, Brown made a decision to leave Heinz Field at halftime, causing even more of a stir.

"Each guy's got to answer that question on their own", Roethlisberger said. "I don't talk about it in the context of the season".

It also adds fuel to the media and fan speculation that started with an exchange between Brown and 49ers tight end George Kittle on New Year's Eve. "Like I said, I'm blessed to play with (Brown) and I consider him one of my closer friends", he said, per ESPN.

The bills the Democrats will propose are expected to pass the House easily, given that Democrats will have a majority of 40 seats. Whether or not the GOP-led Senate will take up the legislation or if the president will sign them into law remains to be seen.

Rice also believes Brown is a team player and would be an asset to the 49ers, should he end up on the trading block.

Clark says he warned some members of Pittsburgh's coaching staff that the team was "going to create a monster" just before the star wide receiver signed a five-year, $42.5 million extension during the 2012 offseason.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said the "distraction" of their franchise-tagged running back never showing up clearly hurt the team this year, as they missed the playoffs by a half-game. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports described the dispute as "fairly ugly". Tomlin did not deny that the perception could be reality, that Brown "quit" on the Steelers when the team needed a win (and Ravens loss) to continue their season.

The drama intensified with Brown being designated as questionable on Friday's injury report before being ruled out for Sunday. I'm sure Kevin, Coach Tomlin will be talking to him but going forward that's unacceptable.

We'll see how things shake out in the weeks and months to come, but the 49ers appear to be Brown's preferred destination.
