Jon Jones' Comeback Fight Moved After More Drug Test Issues

He added that the commission in California "has already dealt with Jon Jones and have all the facts, they have everything".

That positive test resulted in the UFC stripping Jones of the light heavyweight championship, an 18-month suspension levied by USADA (which he has since served) and a $205,000 fine from the state of California.

He served a one-year ban for a positive test for the anti-estrogenic substance clomiphene as well as an aromatase inhibitor letrozole in July 2016.

UFC 232 will be moved from Las Vegas to The Forum in Inglewood, California, after a trace amount of the banned substance turinabol was discovered in a drug test administered to Jon Jones on December 9. "It was remaining effects from the July 2017 positive test - for which he was already sanctioned", Jeff Novitzky, UFC's vice president of athlete health and performance, told ESPN.

Along with Jones vs. Gustafsson, UFC 232 will also feature Cris Cyborg (20-1) vs. Amanda Nunes (16-4) and Carlos Condit (30-12) vs. Michael Chiesa (14-4). "We are confident after consideration of all the evidence and based on science that the resolution of this result under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy is consistent with USADA's mandate and in the interests of justice".

"Jon Jones has trained for this fight", he said.

Former Lehigh University Student From China Accused Of Poisoning Roommate
Yang was already facing an ethnic intimidation charge for allegedly writing racist graffiti in the pair's dorm room in the spring. Prosecutors said that much like the slow process Yang was using to poison his roommate, Royal slowly realized what was happening.

The decision was met with fierce criticism from fighters on the card and fans planning to attend the event, who are now faced with the hard task of trying to book travel to and accommodation in LA.

But rather than pulling the Jones-Gustafsson fight from the card, UFC officials have chose to keep the card intact by moving the entire event from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. "I'll still gonna finish you Jon!"

Cormier responded to the tweet, telling Jones to "keep the money", before laying out a plan of his own. I have willingly submitted to every USADA test in the lead up to this fight and USADA has confirmed what I've been saying all along, that I'm a clean athlete.

'I sincerely thank the California State Athletic Commission and Andy Foster for doing the right thing and supporting me through this process.

White says tickets for Los Angeles will go on sale on Wednesday, 26 December. He did not test positive; he did not do anything wrong here.
