One off McLaren P1 GTR by MSO revealed

They've done that with a new one-off version of the track-only edition of the P1, the P1 GTR.

Just when we've all forgotten about the McLaren P1 and turned our attention to the Senna and the Speedtail, the British supercar manufacturer has reminded us that its maiden Ultimate Series offering still exists.

As a refresher, the P1 GTR bowed in 2015 with 986 horsepower on tap courtesy of a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 and an electric motor.

Slip inside and you'll be greeted by a pair of bespoke ultra lightweight bucket seats, equipped with headrests featuring the Senna logo and carbon sills displaying one of Senna's most famous quotes, "I am not created to finish second or third, I am created to win". It also gets a 24-kart gold heatshield, Lexan rear cover, and modified engine bay shrouds. Aero enhancements include new front dive planes, a wider front splitter, a rear Gurney flap, and the rear wing has larger endplates and secondary inboard elements. Along with the new MP4/4 colours, there's also Senna's "12" on the nose and 30th anniversary badges behind the side windows.

But the eye-catcher is undoubtedly the exterior. Indeed, the redesign was commissioned by this P1's owner to mark 30 years since Senna's first world title. He did that a lot in 1988, didn't he, pipping archrival and teammate Alain Prost to the title with eight wins to the Frenchman's seven.

The vehicle was commissioned by a Senna fanatic, who has been obsessed with the driver from a young age. The "Senna" script and "Driven to Perfection" slogan can also be found on the doors and intake. The doors also have the Brazilian flag on them, and the bar code pattern in place of Malboro lettering. The number 12 is also painted on the vehicle - not only was 12 Senna's number in 1988, but this auto is also chassis number 12 in the P1 GTR production run of 58.

The interior wasn't left out of the thoughtful touches, either.

Inside there are more Senna logos, lots of Alcantara and a special inscription on the door sill which reads "I am not created to finish 2nd or 3rd..." Thin red striping on the dash and doors complete the look. The driver and passenger sit on seats plucked from McLaren's own tribute to the legendary racer, the McLaren Senna.

Trump Administration Will Send Asylum-Seekers To Mexico While Claims Are Processed
Nielsen said the Mexican government, which will now be forced to deal with the migrants, has been informed of the U.S. decision. They will instead "be processed by DHS and given a "Notice to Appear" for their immigration court hearing".
