PSG To Beat Man City To £75m-Rated Star

De Telegraaf claimed representatives of PSG and Ajax had met in Amsterdam to discuss De Jong, with a fee of €75million said to be the agreed price.

While De Jong is focused on helping Ajax win their first Eredivisie title since 2014, the Netherlands global revealed his admiration for City boss Pep Guardiola and his style of football.

And de Jong has admitted he himself is an admirer of Guardiola's passing-based style of football.

"With five games to go until the winter break, I just want to focus on this weekend's game against the PEC and the next one in the Champions League against Bayern Munich".

Manchester City and Real Madrid are also understood to be interested in signing De Jong.

"Maybe I'll stay for another year, maybe I'll leave, but I am not sure".

A preliminary search by security found nothing, and the NYPD was conducting a search as a precaution, the police official said . The Midtown North precinct tweeted that West 58th St. between 8th and 9th Avenues is closed due to a "police investigation".

PSG do not intend to pay €75 million for De Jong, and although they do hold an interest in the Dutchman, Le Parisien is adamant that there is no deal whatsoever.

"I try to see how they move". "Get the ball back quickly, then play possession with so many combinations".

Expounding on the transfer speculation, in particular the stories surrounding a big-money bid from Ligue 1 champions PSG, he added: "It's an issue since the start of the season". Manchester City and Juventus have been reportedly monitoring him as well.

Even French sensation Kylian Mbappe was raving about the Dutch wonder-kid after going against him on worldwide duty."He is a player who really impressed me during our two matches with the Netherlands", he told France Football.

"Honestly, he is very welcome in Paris!"

"I already know him for a long time. After that, he will make his own choice".
