Chelsea stunned as Wolves show their class against the league's elite

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri criticised his players' attitude and felt they were overconfident after a shock 2-1 loss to Wolves on Wednesday.

It was a night to forget for Blues goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who committed a howler to concede Wolves' equaliser.

United boss Jose Mourinho has made 46 changes to his starting lineup already this season and all eyes will be on his selection again as he comes face to face with the original "tinkerman" Claudio Ranieri, now at the helm at Fulham.

Loftus-Cheek's inclusion in the first XI was a significant talking point after a week of rumours that the young England midfielder could seek a loan move to secure more senior games.

Fans reacted to Chelsea's defeat and here are some of the best tweets.

Sarri had demanded that the France worldwide play a more attacking role.

Russia's big oil companies are close to the government and the dominant firm in Saudi Arabia - Saudi Aramco - is state-owned. He tells reporters the nations are "after a stable market and also a fair price for the producers as well as the consumers".

Chelsea FC are looking to finish in the top four this season after the Blues ended up in fifth spot last term.

Chelsea had a shout for a penalty early on in the second half when Alvaro Morata was hauled down in the penalty area, but Sarri had no interest. The start against Wolves was his first in the league for Chelsea since April 2016 and a small but significant show of faith in the player.

Chelsea's pressure eventually paid off and they would have then doubled their lead had Patricio not produced a fine save to keep out Willian's free-kick.

It arrived with a healthy slice of fortune, however, as Loftus-Cheek's effort looked to be heading straight for Rui Patricio before Conor Coady's unwitting intervention with his head wrong-footed his goalkeeper.

Matt Doherty is the first-choice right wing-back for Nuno Espirito Santo's side, but there is very little in reserve and the club could do with an addition to compete with him.
