The league's founder, Vince McMahon, is the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, a wrestling entertainment company.

St. Louis is the only XFL home city that does not have a current National Football League team after the Rams moved back to Los Angeles in 2016.

Eight cities and venues will be revealed as the XFL prepares for the 2020 season.

The cities and stadiums are Dallas (Globe Life Park), Houston (TDECU Stadium), Los Angeles (StubHub Center), St. Louis (The Dome at America's Center), Seattle (CenturyLink Field), Tampa (Raymond James Stadium), New York (MetLife Stadium) and Washington, D.C. (Audi Field).

Apple had then said it would not modify its guidelines to allow any app access to contacts, see call logs or view text messages. More than 700 apps have been removed from the Chinese App Store in recent days, according to local reports .

On Wednesday, a press conference was held at MetLife Stadium, and some big announcements were made regarding which cities will be hosting teams, and which stadiums they will be playing at. Team names will be assigned in 2019. We pledge to bring St. Louis a team deserving of a passionate and football-starved fan base. According to a release, the league will prioritize "fast-paced games with fewer play stoppages and simpler rules". Luck says they want to listen to fans and say they already have great ideas from them.

Luck said they want the XFL to be affordable for families and they are working on lower ticket prices. He mentioned the hundreds of players that get cut from the National Football League and they will be invited to try out for the XFL. The league lasted just one season.

Vince thanked the cities and venues who will be XFL partners moving forward.

As CBS Sports first reported in January, the controversial professional league, which originated as a joint venture between WWE and NBC, is set for a 2020 reboot, complete with eight league-owned franchises. The XFL will have a 10-week regular schedule, 45-man active rosters and two semifinal playoff games.
