Manchester United Rally But Only Save A Draw At Southampton

Immediately after the game, Mourinho cited United's lack of "mad dogs" as the reason for their second successive draw in the Premier League, but thought one player brought a particular bite to their performance.

Jose Mourinho was forced into making a number of changes at the St Mary's Stadium on Saturday, deploying a back five system which included Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic in the heart of central defence.

The draw leaves the Manchester side seventh in the league, six points off the top four and a massive 16 points behind their city rivals, despite Mourinho saying his team could top-four by the end of the year. "It's been nice. This is my last season", to German publication Omnisport (via Die Telegraaf), this could potentially line up a quite remarkable transfer to Manchester, providing a reunion with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. "I think everybody would say yes", he said.

Speaking after the match Mourinho said: "We lost so many balls in midfield and lost so many balls in our transitions to the final third". And when the players don't understand that simplicity is genius, especially in some parts of the pitch, and they keep and keep and keep in going to complicated football it's hard to have that continuity'.

French President Emmanuel Macron was also filmed speaking to the prince on the sidelines of the summit. Putin is under fire, at least most recently, for the Russian seizure of Ukrainian ships and sailors.

Having in mind he played the whole match - 90 minutes - we could say he was losing the ball every 6.43 minutes, or exactly per every 385 seconds he was on the pitch. I would say, as positive examples, Marcus Rashford, Phil Jones, many others showing that respect for the shirt.

Seven minutes later, it was 2-0. [Victor] Lindelof has an important injury. [Chris] Smalling has a pain in his foot so he is not available to play, Eric Bailly has a pain in his back so he's not available to play. Their opening 20 minutes looked as if they were not one of the attacking-wise worst teams in the league over the past 18 months.

Those comeback goals came courtesy of Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera, after Stuart Armstrong and then Cedric Soares had put Mark Hughes's side 2-0 up.
