Michelle Obama Reveals Why She Hated 1st Trip to Kenya

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her new book, Becoming, Obama opened up about some of her most high-profile friendships. "I don't think we have anything in common", she continued.

She also drop a few details about what life was like in the White House, including her dogs' work schedules and - perhaps most surprisingly - the fact that they still had to pay for all the food they ordered in.

Now that Obama isn't first lady, she can really "cut loose", argued Kimmel, and what better way to do that than by saying stuff that would have been taboo two years ago?

"When you're in the residence, there's so much bulletproof glass that sometimes you don't hear what's going on outside", Obama says.

Her husband and the former President Barack Obama shared a touching tribute to Michelle upon the memoir's release. Now that she's no longer First Lady, however, she can say whatever the heck she wants, and unleashed all the things she's been keeping under wraps for all those years in a hilarious "JKL!" bit.

It was not all gloom as she went on to reveal that she enjoyed the company of Obama's relatives who turned out to be her in-laws.

"Our former First Lady is here to share stories from her new autobiography, Becoming. I'm like 'Who are you?'" said Obama. "Laura, sorry. Send me the bill", she added.

The former First Lady also dished on her celebrity text buddies, how her and Barack are boring now they're unemployed, and whether her daughters, Sasha and Malia, would run for President one day.
