Jerome Corsi expects indictment in Robert Mueller probe

Robert Mueller is reportedly set to issue multiple indictments in the ongoing Trump-Russia probe, as early as Tuesday, with targets thought to include Donald Trump Jr., longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone, and Stone's associate Jerome Corsi - who have both said they expect to be indicted.

Mueller's team is now investigating whether the Trump campaign collaborated with Russian Federation to influence the outcome of the 2016 USA presidential election, and Farage is one of President Donald Trump's staunchest supporters overseas.

Corsi suggested the possible charges arose over Mueller's inquiries into the theft of thousands of emails from the Democratic National Committee, Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, and the campaign's chairman, John Podesta.

Corsi was formerly the Washington bureau chief of the conspiracy theory outlet InfoWars. Andy Wigmore, a spokesman for the pro-Brexit campaign, said Farage had not been contacted by Mueller's team. Everyone should know that, and I'm anticipating it'.

Corsi was actually at the NBC studio, sitting in his vehicle outside Rockefeller Center, when NBC got a text from Gray, which read "On advice of counsel, Dr. Corsi is cancelling today's interview. That's my crime, and now I'm going to go to prison for the rest of my life for cooperating with them", he later added.

Reached by ABC News on Monday, Corsi's lawyer, David Gray, declined to comment on the matter.

He said he had turned over two computers and a cellphone to investigators and given them full access to his tweets.

His explosive book "Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump" spotlights a conspiracy to destroy the Trump presidency, and delineates what the president must do to prevail. He was also asked if he had ever visited WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange at London's Ecuadorian embassy.

Stone has landed on Mueller's radar over an August 21, 2016 tweet he sent in which he wrote that "it will soon [be] the Podesta's time in the barrel".

Jerome Corsi, coauthor of "Unfit For Command", speaks during a news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., October 14, 2004.

"We began a series of discussions with them that have gone on for two months", he explained. Best of my recollection, what I knew in advance about what Julian Assange was going to do in terms of the Podesta emails, I figured out.

Meanwhile, acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker plans to consult with Department of Justice ethics officials about whether he should recuse himself from the investigation into the Trump campaign's ties to Russian Federation, a department representative said Monday.
