Vote tallies due in Florida's hotly contested elections

Results from the recount will comprise the second unofficial results, which are due to the secretary of state by Thursday. Mr Trump wrote on Twitter today during a visit to France. It was not a choice: Statewide contests decided by a half a percentage point or less must be reanalyzed under Florida law, and the races between Gov. Rick Scott and U.S. Sen.

Scott and Nelson have both had very different reactions to the possibility of a recount. Let us not repeat that injustice in FL and AZ this year. Mr Scott wrote on Twitter.

Republican Ron DeSantis led Democrat Andrew Gillum in the race for governor by 0.41 percent (33,684 votes). If a hand recount is ordered, those ballots will be checked manually. "It's time for Senator Nelson to accept reality and spare the state of the Florida the time, expense and discord of a recount".

Mr Nelson said his campaign would continue taking action to ensure every vote is counted without interference or efforts to undermine the democratic process.

Mr DeSantis said in a video statement that the results were "clear and unambiguous, just as they were on election night", and that he was honoured by the trust Floridians placed in him. "No ragtag group of liberal activists or lawyers from DC will be allowed to steal this election from the voters in the state of Florida".

"I am replacing my words of concession with an uncompromised and unapologetic call that we count every single vote", Gillum said.

The disputes in Florida's elections recall the swing state's 2000 presidential recount, when the election for US president was delayed for several weeks over hanging chads.

HDR results are especially impressive with the Mi 8 Pro , while Xiaomi has also added some bonus features including a Pro mode. Xiaomi put out a public declaration on their social media channels, speaking about the inflation and the new adjusted prices.

In that election, the victor of the White House hung in the balance for weeks before the US Supreme Court stopped the counting and Republican George W Bush triumphed over Democrat Al Gore.

Scott has publicly decried it and has brought lawsuits against both the Broward County and Palm Beach County supervisors of elections, alleging that both offices mismanaged votes.

"As soon as Democrats sent their best Election stealing lawyer, Marc Elias, to Broward County they miraculously started finding Democrat votes", he said of Democrats' top lawyer on the case.

"I would expect when we go into a machine recount and then a hand recount, right now the results are unknown who has won, and if I had to place a bet, I would say it is more likely than not Sen".

Mr Nelson also filed a motion in federal court asking that provisional and absentee ballots not be rejected because election officials deem that the signatures do not match voters' signatures on file.

That seemed unlikely, considering Nelson's recount attorney tweeted out Detzner's order with a hopeful comment that more votes are out there.

The recounts and possible legal challenges mean it could be weeks until a victor is determined in either race. If Scott is able to retain his lead, it would expand the Republican majority in the Senate, which now stands at 51 seats.
