Stephen A. Smith: Duke Basketball Can Go Undefeated

Kentucky: It was an embarrassing performance for the Wildcats, who weren't physical enough against Williamson and couldn't keep up with Barrett.

The Blue Devils didn't stop with that flurry.

12-10 - Kentucky's lead in the all-time series with Duke. Still, you can bet coach Mike Krzyzewski will try to fix his team's flaws and make Duke an even more hard matchup.

This was Kentucky. The Kentucky Wildcats.

Barrett led the way with 33 points, while Williamson scored a hyper efficient 28 points on 11-of-13 shooting, in just 23 minutes on the court.

"This game was supposed to (feature) the top two recruiting classes".

The 6-foot-10 Laszewski led the way with 12 points and a game-high nine rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench. Villanova has won two of the past three national titles with a lineup that featured ball handlers and shooters at every spot.

Duke hosts Krzyzewski's alma mater, Army, on Sunday. Still, it was exceptionally clear the kind of impact that Williamson had on the overall basketball-viewing consciousness, as his combination of size, power and skill could be tantalizing at the next level. Also, he showed off his knack for knocking down contested shots around the basket, shooting 3-of-4 from the field and ending with seven points and four rebounds.

Woman Who Lived in Kenyan Refugee Camp Wins USA Elections
New Mexico's Deb Haaland and Kansas attorney Sharice Davids were elected the first two Native American women to serve in Congress. Born in Detroit to Palestinian-American parents, Tlaib served in Michigan's state legislature from 2008 to 2014.

Calipari said Williamson's effort against Kentucky's big bodies was unexpected.

The big difference between Parker and Randle heading into 2019 is that while Parker's team option was a franchise taking a chance on him, Randle's player-option in his Pelicans contract allows him to control his future.

"It's hard because he's a physical player and he puts it up in the ref's hands a lot of the times, as far as the way he's attacking you and he makes it hard to guard without fouling and he puts a lot of pressure at the rim", Travis said about Barrett, who finished 4-for-8 from the free throw line. Randle has nearly the same reputation but has actually improved his defensive game whereas Parker's defense has a very long way to go.

"I feel like as we mature we will be able to take blows like that (and come back)".

Krzyzewski just spread the floor and dared Kentucky to match up against a collection of top-10 picks.

What is this Duke team missing?

The hype promised as much. "You shouldn't have to play well just because you made shots, and they both made shots, but there's a lot of things especially Devon can do in transition". Now we know what they can actually do. They needed their two-best defenders on Barrett and Williamson, and their point guard needed to guard Tre Jones - we'll get to him in a second - which left Tyler Herro to try and slow down Reddish.
