Matt Patricia asks reporter to 'sit up' in testy exchange

The NFL's trade deadline on Tuesday did not disappoint Philadelphia Eagles fans as they did get an expected move from Howie Roseman and the front office. News broke of Tate being traded to the Eagles on Tuesday, and it didn't take him long to react to the news on Twitter.

Before Patricia - who now coaches the Detroit Lions after spending six seasons as the Patriots' defensive coordinator - offered an answer, he requested that the reporter to "sit up" and "have a little respect for the process".

The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles have acquired veteran wide receiver Golden Tate from the Detroit Lions, in exchange for a third round pick. He'll help form one of the more unsafe trios of receivers in the National Football League alonside Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor. I'll love ya forever.

Before the shooting, the poster believed to be Bowers also wrote that " HIAS likes to bring invaders in that kill our people. The United States, and the world, were scapegoating and murdering Jews long before Trump became president.

The 30-year-old Tate is also one of the best yards-after-catch receivers in the league with 285 yards after the catch - No. 13 in the league, but No. 3 among receivers. With three touchdowns attributed to his name already this season, Tate could very well surpass his touchdown totals from the previous two years and be the saving grace to what has been rough sledding for the Eagles receiving corps.

The trade gives the Eagles a much needed receiving weapon as they enter the second hald of the National Football League season with a 4-4 record.
