Nicki Minaj Responds to Cardi B's Instagram Rant

The award-winning rapper took to social media to share a heartfelt note.

Cardi B then responded in a series of Instagram videos where he claimed that there's no footage because she didn't get hit and also addressed the infamous "Motorsport" situation.

Basically, Cardi's like - either we can talk about this like adults or we can fight it out.

Okay, so what's the latest?

It all came to head - and blows - at a fashion even in New York City in September.

Things got worse before they got better, though, and the calls for peace only came after the two went at it like it was their job.

Oh, and there's more.

In the end, Nicki says she is happy to put this beef behind her.

Nicki wasn't done, assuring her audience that there is video of the fight somewhere out there that will back up what she's saying.

"But now you're the gangster". Do you wanna be the victim or do you wanna be a gangsta?

Once she'd addressed that, Cardi chose to pick up on other issues she has with her hip hop rival.

Harry and Meghan will then pop across Cook Strait for a bush walk in Abel Tasman National Park and barbecue. The country has a "moderate" risk of Zika, which is transmitted by mosquitoes and can cause birth defects.

"Then, that "Woman Like Me" record?"

An IG account for Jade (that Queen Nicki herself follows) "liked" the rapper's clapback that said: 'Stop trying to distract everyone about the fact that you lied about Rah beating your head in. Minaj also said she would give $100,000 to anyone who had surveillance footage of the incident, according to Pitchfork.

What have Little Mix said?

Little Mix's Woman Like Me was sent to Cardi B as well as Nicki Minaj.

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B went back and forth over multiple claims.

The Little Mix girls have certainly mentioned their love for Nicki often enough. Cardi's been receiving scary threats online from Nicki fans - threats that even include her baby, Kulture.

A few weeks ago, Minaj accused Cardi of payola. Their Shakespearean-level quarrel, which played out for weeks, culminated into a massive, shoe-flinging Fashion Week fracas last month, but their new plea for positivity is, at the very least, a step toward heel-free territory.

Nicki now says she beat Cardi 'like really bad...

It was only a matter of time before Hollywood had to pick sides between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.

Newsbeat has contacted representatives for Nicki, Cardi and Rah Ali for a comment.
