Plans to build Titanic replica back on track

The Titanic II will have a few differences, however.

According to Cruise Arabia & Africa, a replica of the famed ship will set sail in 2022, retracing the route of the original Titanic.

A replica of the infamous Titanic will set sail in 2022, Chairman of Blue Star Line Clive Palmer said in London this week.

Blue Star Line, the Australian shipping company behind the project, first introduced the idea in 2012, positioning Titanic II as "the ship where dreams come true"-think all the opulent designs (first class dining, the grand staircase) of the original model, plus modern upgrades".

According to USA Today, this real-life reboot will leave port from Dubai and head for Southampton, England.

Sturgeon's message was broadcast from the main stage in Parliament Square where marchers gathered after walking from Park Lane. Speaking on TalkRADIO he said: "You say there may be hundreds of thousands, there were 17.4million who voted to leave".

Work on Titanic II was stalled in 2015 due to financial difficulties but shipbuilding has now been resumed.

Titanic II will feature the same cabin layout as the original ship and will carry the exact same number of passengers and crew members as the original. Also, it will trace the precise route of the original ship.

RMS Titanic sank in the early morning of April 15, 1912, in the North Atlantic, four days into the ship's maiden voyage.

"The ship will follow the original journey, carrying passengers from Southampton to NY, but she will also circumnavigate the globe", Palmer said.

Considering the fact that the build for Titanic II, as the ship is called, is barely underway, it's hard to see how the construction and testing can be done in so little time.
