Witches will gather in Brooklyn to hex Brett Kavanaugh

Witches will gather in Brooklyn to hex Brett Kavanaugh

The confirmation of a clearly hyper-partisan and unqualified justice to the Supreme Court has forced Chief Justice John Roberts to publicly address the issue, and assure the nation that even with Brett Kavanaugh on the court, it will not be just another arm of the Republican party.

The Kavanaugh hexing event will take place on October 20 at an occult bookstore and spiritual community in Bushwick called "Catland Books", according to its organizer.

Protesters swarmed Senate office buildings and hundreds were arrested in a futile attempt to intimidate a handful of holdout senators into voting against confirming Kavanaugh. Most notably, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee before Kavanaugh was voted in to the role, stating that she was "100 percent" certain Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her while the two were in high school.

Jonathan Mitchell, an Austin-based attorney whose law firm Mitchell Law PLLC filed each of the lawsuits, declined to comment on whether the timing of the lawsuits was meant to coincide with the confirmation of Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court, citing a practice of not commenting on pending litigation. If these potentially new voters decide not to vote this year, in addition to the demographic patterns above, we estimate that Republicans would win 218 seats, just barely hanging onto control.

But Austin's LGBT-inclusive ordinance has been on the books for some time and the EEOC has taken charge of anti-LGBT discrimination for years under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

"Cursing and hexing has always been a key part of witchcraft". In an interview with Newsweek, Bracciale said those hexes were a success because the president has been "exposed", "humiliated" and "invalidated" since the spring of 2017. "We do that often enough in our opinions", quickly adding he would speak about how "the judicial branch is, how it must be, very different". "It's about having space for survivors of sexual assault who are not going to be silent and who don't want Brett Kavanaugh to serve as a symbol of defeat".
