Kavanaugh to Get Senate Vote This Week, McConnell Says

Trump at his rally derided Ford over some details concerning her allegation that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were teenagers, and Roberts asked why the president felt compelled to do so.

Ford says Kavanaugh tried to rape her at a 1982 party.

Outside Phoenix, Rep. Martha McSally, a sexual assault survivor herself, said the issues raised by Ford are "pretty personal".

Feinstein, the highest ranking woman on the Judiciary Committee, unloaded on President Donald Trump, calling his repeated attacks on Ford at a MS campaign rally last night, "appalling".

"A couple of times I made eye contact with Mark and thought he might try to help me, but he did not", she said.

The mad scramble to get Trump SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh confirmed has caused key members of the Senate GOP to drop their masks and expose their inner ghouls. The White House has made it clear to the Federal Bureau of Investigation that its agents are not limited in their expanded background search, one White House official said.

Mr Judge is one of multiple people the FBI has already interviewed as part of its reopened background investigation into Mr Kavanaugh. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), with the backing of fellow Republican Sens.

Judge's interview started but "has not been completed", his attorney said in a statement quoted by Fox News.

In speaking to FBI agents, Deborah Ramirez detailed her allegation that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a party in the early 1980s when they were students at Yale University, according to a person familiar with the matter who was not authorized to publicly discuss details of a confidential investigation.

Further muddying the waters surrounding the nomination are reports from the New York Magazine that Kavanaugh attempted, via text message, to gather "testimony attempting to refute" allegations against him before they were reported by the New Yorker in September.

Trump set to sell new Mexico-Canada trade agreement
The senior administration officials announced agreement on the USMCA an hour before the USA -imposed deadline for a deal. Canada also successfully pushed to keep a special dispute process, called Chapter 19, intact.

Trump limited the investigation to no more than a week.

'I was surprised about how vocal he was about the fat that he likes beer, ' said Trump, who doesn't drink.

"I think most people on the Republican side see it for what it's worth".

In last week's hearing, Blasey Ford said Judge witnessed Kavanaugh's alleged assault and jumped on top of them as it happened, sending all 3 tumbling and allowing her to escape.

A man identifying himself as Ford's former boyfriend said in the letter he saw Ford coach a friend on how to be less nervous during a polygraph examination.

Republicans hit back, saying Democrats were using yet another strategy to try and derail Kavanaugh's confirmation.

But Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, calling Trump's remarks "reprehensible", said the president owes Blasey Ford "an immediate apology". "Well, do you think it was - nope, it was one beer". "This isn't the process that should've been done and certainly everybody deserves to be heard- but that includes Judge Kavanaugh".

He has also been accused of varying degrees of sexual misconduct from two other women. So you can imagine my surprise at receiving your letter regarding the supplemental FBI background investigation.

The poll has less rosy news for Republicans as a Quinnipiac poll released at the same time: voters still believe they'll turn out for Democrats in November, even though Democrats have treated the Supreme Court nomination process like a kangaroo court.
