Britain’s PM Theresa May dances onto stage

British Prime Minister Theresa May dances as she walks out onto the stage to deliver her leader's speech during the final day of the Conservative Party Conference at The International Convention Centre on October 3, 2018.

The embattled British Prime Minister strutted onto the stage to the gloriously joyful refrain from the Swedish hitmakers, unaware that she was well and truly wrecking any chance of enjoying the song in the future without referring back to this terrible moment in history. She danced!"Oh my days!"And Abba's Dancing Queen is playing".

While making her way on to the stage at the Tory Party Conference, "Dancing Queen" by ABBA played in the background and May attempted some moves that people have been calling "The Maybot".

Naturally, within the blink of an eye, the internet had jumped onto Twitter to share their disbelief.

"There are some things about last year's conference I am trying to forget", said May to the packed hall of party faithful in Birmingham.

Which just so happens to be the definition of "sashaying", ergo the headline.

Another added: "Her advisers must really have it in for her".

Prior to beginning her speech, May jokingly asked the audience to "excuse" her if she begins coughing during her address.

But what has undoubtedly gathered the most attention of late is her dance moves. She made a decision to accompany this with dancing.

Something tells us they might not take her up on that one.
