Cristiano Ronaldo ACCUSED of RAPE! Calls Allegations

The Italian club declined to comment on the Der Spiegel report on Friday.

The Las Vegas Police Department has confirmed they have been in contact with Mayorga several times over the past few weeks, which adds fuel to speculation investigators may be preparing to re-open the case. We have all the lawsuit details coming up!

Ronaldo's lawyers have revealed plans to sue Der Spiegel over what they call "blatantly illegal" reporting.

'It violates the personal rights of client Cristiano Ronaldo in a serious way. "This is an inadmissible reporting of suspicions in the area of privacy", lawyer Christian Schertz said in a statement.

Last night, the Juventus forward dismissed the claims as "fake news" on Instagram: "What they said today: fake, fake news". "The reason why I signed the contract in the first place [was] because I didn't want my name out there". It's normal. They want to be famous. Yeah but it's part of the job.

"Ninety-nine percent of me is a good guy, I just don't know about the other 1%", he reportedly told her as he fell to his knees. The lawsuit was filed by Leslie Mark Stovall, lawyer for complainant Kathryn Mayorga.

In a smiling Instagram video posted hours after the suit was filed, Ronaldo appears to deny the allegations.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has denied the claims, calling it "fake news".

Mourinho: No player is bigger than Manchester United
He declined to reveal what was said between him and Pogba but characterised their relationship as a normal manager-player one. We should have 15 minutes of training session open because what happened the other day happens many days.

Cristiano Ronaldo is being accused of raping a woman in Las Vegas in 2009. She "refused and stated she wanted to leave the hotel suite", say the court documents. "The documents claim Ronaldo left the bedroom after the assault, 'stating he was sorry, he was usually a gentleman". She says she was then in shock for three months before ultimately determining to draw a line under the matter by agreeing to a settlement. "Plaintiff refused... and covered herself in an attempt to prevent sexual penetration".

At the time of the alleged attack, Ronaldo, then 24, was in Las Vegas on holiday with his brother-in-law and cousin.

Mayorga, an American former model and teacher, saw famous actresses including Ashley Judd, Jennifer Lawrence and Uma Thurman come forward and speak publicly as the #MeToo movement rapidly gathered pace and, nearly a year to the day the New York Times revealed the first strands of the Weinstein story which continues to unravel today, Mayorga has gone public herself. OcampoGomez said she also asked for a "sexual assault test", which was performed at the University Medical Center. In 2010, she negotiated a $400,000 out-of-court settlement.

The lawsuit accuses Ronaldo of battery for sodomizing her.

In addition to the civil case, Monday's statement from Ronaldo's accuser also alludes to "Mayorga's decision to pursue the criminal investigation".

Daily Star Online has contacted Dr Schertz asking him about the rape allegations made by Ms Mayorga and the legal action Ronaldo is planning to take in response.

Her family, who lives in Las Vegas, attended mediation to provide her with emotional support and advice.

The 34-year-old teacher claims the superstar footballer forced her to have sex with him in the bathroom of his penthouse suite, despite repeatedly being told not to.
