Chelsea's Maurizio Sarri to rotate Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud over long season

Chelsea's Maurizio Sarri to rotate Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud over long season

The win ensured Chelsea maintained their 100 per cent start to the season, securing five out of five wins and keeping them top of the league - ahead of Liverpool on goal difference.

Hazard's first two goals came from layoffs by Olivier Giroud. "Yes, I think so". You saw today he wasn't able to play, but I hope he can recover in the next two or three days.

The club's Italian boss Maurizio Sarri has shown faith in Alvaro Morata since his arrival in London, keeping Giroud in the substitute role, but this showing will surely give Sarri a real decision to make over who his first choice striker is.

"I thought Hazard was one of the best players in Europe but now I change my mind because maybe he is the best", Sarri said after Hazard's man-of-the-match performance.

"I don't know about Hazard".

Hazard went on to describe him as "the best target man in the world", but Sarri says he will rotate Giroud and Hazard depending on the weaknesses of his opponents. In his second coming at the West London club, the Brazilian global has gone from being one of the first names on the team sheet to being a peripheral figure to now becoming a regular once again, all in just two years.

Hurricane Florence battering North and SC
Some areas of North Carolina saw nearly a foot of rain just a few hours, and footage showed sea levels begin to surge in land. The center of Florence is forecast to move further inland across southeastern North Carolina and eastern SC through Saturday.

"In the moment we are very unsafe in the offensive phase but we are not solid as I want in the defensive phase", he added. Eight players arrived for training at the beginning of August, so I think it's normal that in this period we have some defensive problems.

"We have to improve step by step".

Once the Europa League fixtures start piling up, we will see the true extent of this Chelsea team's quality, but for now, they have looked as good as anyone and Sarri deserves recognition for this achievement.

"My target is to become the best team in England in one year, 18 months".

"I just want to do my best for this club, which has done a lot for me".
