Flood Watch for Parts of WNY, Leftover rain from Gordon

Flood Watch for Parts of WNY, Leftover rain from Gordon

More than 2 inches of rain are possible from Friday night through Sunday, with higher amounts in areas that see the heaviest downpours Friday.

A flood watch will be in effect for Centre County, and more than 30 other Pennsylvania counties, beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday and continuing through Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service. Rainfall coverage will be wide-spread by late afternoon and early evening reaching almost 70% of the area. The remnants of Gordon will move very close to St. Louis, getting additional "lift" from our weather front that will be stalled over the bi-state.

The storm could dump between 20-40 mm of rain on the region and surrounding areas Sunday and Monday. If driving during heavy rains, watch out for rising water levels and do not drive into water, even if it appears shallow.

Three separate storm systems are being tracked in the Atlantic. Temperatures will rebound after the cool weekend, back into the 80s by Wednesday and beyond.

His son, Flavio, said that his father was "almost dead" when he was admitted, but his condition was later reported to be stable. But Bolsonaro also faces trial before the Supreme Court for speech prosecutors claim incited hate and rape.

Portions of the Missouri River also are at or near technical flood stage.

Rivers are rising, too.
